In most cases, people experience postural issues while at work or while seated. So ask yourself, "why do I continue getting injured?" There is a definite link between poor posture and common injuries like back pain (sciatica), shoulder/neck pain, knee pain and lower back pain. The best way to combat these injuries are corrective exercises.
Poor posture can come from different sources. Some of the most common are living a sedentary lifestyle, poor training techniques and wearing high heels.
These situations are sometimes unavoidable and can turn into injuries over time. Since we often spend a lot of time sitting at a desk, let's start there. While seated and staring at a computer screen, it's easy to slump or slouch in your chair. I'm sure you've all heard the saying, "don't slouch!" from your mom, so I won't go on about it. But I will list some great exercises to help you move out of those bad habits and get away from the nagging pain.
